By Ruthie Calderon

Trends are everywhere. And when one starts to attract a certain market, it can proceed to spreading like a wildfire. Same is true in the case of items and other accessories that are related to sports. Over the years, different kinds of games have continually attracted a lot of people, making them a good source of business as well.

People start to wear items that are identifiers of their favorite team or player. If you look around the market today, you will see just how prolific it has become. Portland sports tees are items that have been popular for a long time already and are continually gaining more attentions especially for the fans of the best teams in the city.

Whether you do the search of the shop manually, or go online to have a look at the various selection available from different makers, you are sure to bump into a lot of unique ones. If however, you already have a design in mind, you should not hesitate to share it to the maker. When you start customizing your own, be sure not to forget the following.

Shirt color. All sport teams have their official colors. And if you want to add credibility on what you have, then you should go for the same color that they have. If however you like it to be personal and do not like the official color of the team that you love, then you can always go for what you prefer.

Text. This is where you decide the words, or any text that you would want to print on the shirt. It could be anything. Most common ones are names of professional sport teams. Some also include their own names to show ownership. Think of the text and consider the part of the tee where you want to print them.

Print color. You cannot just go on deciding this without being clear about the shirt color that you have. The print will have to be a match to the shirt. Otherwise, the appeal may look negative. Common example would be a white print against black and yellow against red. Experiment on different colors.

Other design items. This can mean a lot of different things. This could be images, logos, and all other elements of design that you would like to print on the shirts. To stay relevant, be sure to include details which are related to the specific sport that you like. Designs should never be too many that it will already start to become a distraction.

Type of cloth used for the shirt. This will mean a lot when it comes to durability, so you better start finding those that are considered to be the best. There are a lot of variety out there. Get to know what they have to offer.

Do not hesitate to share your ideas to the maker. You can ask them to do it for you. However, if they refuse, do not force them as well. Instead, find more options which are capable of delivering what you need.
