How A Long Island Advertising Agency May Bolster NXT

By Robert Sutter

NXT is a brand that, in my view, many professional wrestling enthusiasts have invested themselves in. Even though it may be considered to be nothing but a training ground for up-and-coming athletes, it has definitely held its own as a show that fans can legitimately enjoy. Its awareness is limited, though, and I cannot help but feel as though a Long Island advertising agency can prove to be quite useful. In order for this to be done well, these ideas should be taken into heavy consideration.

NXT, for those who aren't in the know, is a type of wrestling show that is hosted on the WWE Network every Thursday night. It's made to showcase the various talents who are still learning the ropes, all the while giving them a broader platform to work on. The fact that they have a live audience to work off of only helps matters that much more. It also doesn't hurt that WWE has been able to grant NXT quite a bit of time on television, at least in preparation for live events.

I believe that the most striking example would be the allowance of an NXT tag team match on RAW. What happened was, to hype the live special event known as NXT Takeover 2, a total of four NXT wrestlers worked in front of a live crowd on RAW. The fact that they were given valuable TV time speaks volumes about the faith that the company has in its own farming facility of sorts. Of course, like with anything, WWE's marketing of NXT can be better.

The truth of the matter is that WWE needs to advertise, outside of its own content, more often than it is. I'm sure that most will agree, especially when commercials for RAW and the like can draw in people who may not be professional wrestling fans to begin with. If there's one specific aspect that a Long Island advertising agency can draw attention to, in my view, it would have to be NXT. It's a strong selling point and I'm sure that firms like fishbat would be hard-pressed to argue.

It's easy for me to enjoy NXT and I find it to be the best produced wrestling show in the world right now. Not only does it possess content that's easy to get engaged in but it has the feeling of an independent show with a more intimate vibe. This personal feeling is one that's exclusive to a select few promotions and you can be certain that NXT is one of tem. Even though it has reached quite a bit of success, I am sure that it can reach even more in due time.
