Dive Resort Reviews And Other Sites To Visit

By Henry Mitchell

Dive resorts are a place for divers to enjoy their hobby introduces new ones to it. You may go and learn to scuba dive here and have guided trips to new locations for dives. You could also buy scuba gear and equipment on the shops that are located here.

There are many places in the world that are frequented by divers such as Bonaire. You can read many different Bonaire dive resort reviews to check out how awesome the place is. It has many dive sites that almost anyone can access including those that can be executed from the shore which offers a rare chance to dive the exact same place as often as you want.

There are four major areas on the island that you could choose from depending on what you like. The north sections are part of a surrounding reef with gentler slope and are a little easier dives usually. The sections on the south have stronger current and are deeper and usually consist of a steep drop. The east section is normally a washing machine and the small nearby island boast a better vision clarity than the mainland because it lacks runoff.

The island is popular for its shore diving which is simple and foreseeable and not that deep. There are fewer currents, nothing large in the water which may harm you and the sites have good marked signs. Different spots that caters to different level of diving expertise and preferences are available.

It is easy to find the diving sites because they are represented with a huge yellow rock with its name painted on. Just drive around until you spot a yellow rock and check its description on the guide and go diving if it interested you. There are also spots in front of the hotels that can be approached from ports or stairs that leads to the sea.

Never leave your valuables unattended in your rented car because there have been reports of items being stolen. It is better to bring what you just need and be using for the plunge or use a waterproof bag to keep your belongings. You may even take turns in diving so that there will always be someone who will be on guard of your things.

You may either typically spend your day by doing either boat dives or shore dives or maybe both. Most packages will allow checking out of many tanks so you can do it any time you want. And how many dives you can do in a day depends on your energy and your time spent in the bottom.

Be aware of some rules to be followed during the dive and the operators are very defensive of the reefs in the island. You will be given a warning the first time you are seen destroying or touching the reef and will be taken out of the sea the second time. Taking anything out from the sea like corals and seashells is strictly not allowed.

Diving around the island all year round is possible because of its great weather condition. The hurricane season is between June and November but it rarely gets hit by one. Some shallow reefs have already been damaged though because of the previous hurricanes that did hit.
